Life and update on Baby number 3!!

Sorry everyone life has been crazy and I can not get time to stop and do this blog ever!! Since my last Post we found out we are pregnant, due July 7,2013 really praying for a boy. We find out in 2 weeks what the baby is and we are so excited. It is so funny how family is supposed to be all excited for a new addition and to be honest when we told people we got more negative responses then positive from really everyone! kinda irritating to be honest! Anyways it really dosent matter what other people think anyways since we are the one having the baby. We have chosen two boy names and one girl name. Boy- either: Liam Alexander brown or Connor Alexander Brown
Girl- Londyn Lynne Brown
you can leave your vote on the boys name at the bottom comments if you would like we like to hear them.

Dakota and Teagan are doing great. Dakota is 3.5 years now, how time just gets away from you. She is for the most part potty trained still have a few accidentes. She will hopefully be starting preschool in September if we get into this program. She will be attending mon-fri from I believe 9 am- 12pm, this would be such a great thing for her. She will really be able to challenge her mind and learn so much more, not to mention being around kids her age will be fantastic for her. That girl has some serious sass but she is so intelligent it really blows my mind. Some things she says and way beyond her years and I just stop myself from crying because she is really getting older and older so fast. She is the best sister to Teagan ever! She impresses me everyday! I just adore her. She is now in primary at church and loves it. So sweet to have her come home talking about it and able to sing the songs. I can't wait until the primary program where the primary stands up and sings like 6 songs and I just know she will own it lol.

Teagan si now 15 mos and running everywhere. i believe I have already told you guys no sippy cup, no bottle, and no binky. I am not that mom that has a 3 year old or even 2 year old with a pacifier. Not that Im bashing any mom who is. I am just not, She says some words like; mama, dada, bye bye, thank you, baby, no is her favorite I think though. She sleeps ( when not sick or teething) from 7pm to 6:30 ish am mon-fri no sleeping in for mama. She has 9 teeth right now, she is as smart as a whip! She can problem solve like no other!! But still likes to throw fits and I mean full on 2 year old throw myself on the ground fits. I think she also is growing up way to fast!! She will go into nursery at church at 18 mos so we still have 3 mos for that. She has really turned into a great toddler we had a really rough start with the colic but she is so happy now, when she is happy but will quickly turn to mad in a second (temper like her father). I adore her as well and could not imagine my life without these two.

As far as Baby number three...... I am 17 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Again we find out sex on Feb. 15, 2013. We are praying for a boy so I can be done. My season pass to the hospital better expire soon!

Okay so yet another ER story! My week started out with Teagan getting sick again!! I know it seems like she is never better or if she is Kota is sick. I do was watching two other children in my home and if my kids were healthy hers were sick and vice versa. needless to say we decided it was better for her to find another sitter. So back to the story... by Tuesday she was really not feeling good and I could tell her throat was bothering her again so I took her to the doctor in which they just said she h as a virus and there is nothing they can do just keep giving her Tylenol and Motrin. Ryan and I were not satisfied and seemed like she was worse by Tuesday night so we took her to ER and yes she was dehydrated again and they pumped her full of fluids. They also gave her some antibiotic in her IV just in case her strep test was a false negative. They then sent us home. She still was not feeling any better the next day, she would not let me put her down at all! so I had to watch the three kids I sit and my two with her on my hip all day long. My arm felt as if it was going to break off by 4pm Wednesday. But i stuck it out and did it by 10pm Teagan and I were asleep on the sofa since that is the only way she was able to sleep on my chest at an incline. so I literally have to sleep sitting up for her to sleep. Anyways Ryan gets a call on his phone and mine it was the ER Dr from last night saying her blood culture came back with bacteria in it so she needs to be admitted for infection in her blood we need to come in asap. FREAKED us out we got Kota up called the parents to meet us at hospital to get Kota for the night.
When we got there they could not get her Iv in they kept getting a vein but would hit a valve and could not push through. They stuck her 6 times before they got it in good enough. I was a crying mess and poor Ryan had to hold her down I could not stay in the room this time without wanting to kill someone and then throw up! After they got more blood  they put her on fluids gave her more antibiotics, I then told Ryan he needed to go home and get some rest he had work in the morning and I would be fine with her. She was sleeping and sick so she needed just to rest. They got us up to our room at 4am. When I walked in I was so disturbed the crib if you call it that looked like a cage for an animal and I had a chair that conveniently  foldeed out to a not so comfy bed for me. I was carrying her and trying to pull out my chair/bed pushing around her Iv stand and trying to figure how to work the crib/cage. No the nurse did not help you would think she would seeing my crying eyes as red as could be stressed out but no she was a brat!!! I finally got settled and got her back to sleep. I then tried to put er in the crib but the metle thing was so loud every time I would try to put the gate up it would bang lock down. She then would wake up and I would have to start from square one. That happened 3 times until I got her in and got her to stay asleep even after the loud banging crap. That was night one! I then found out next day we would be staying another night to wait and see what the new blood culture was growing.
Second day/ night not as bad she started to feel little better and I was getting the hang of the cage and was able to put her down. She was only sleeping 30-1 hour at this point and still having a lot of trouble eating. She had a virus called Herpangina again another form of hand foot and mouth. So sores in the mouth again she hates eating. So IV fluids still, antibiotic still and sleeping still when she would. They brought some toys in and by end of that day she was feeling good enough to play. The second night was not too bad at all she slept about 1.5-2 hours at a time and started to eat 2-3 ounces again. She would also go right back to sleep. So I felt better getting little sleep too. The next day being Friday now she felt fantastic and was up happy playing and sleeping her regular naps 1.5-2 hour 2x a day. She was eating 4 ounces now at a time and eating finger foods like green beans. The doctor finally came in about 12 and told me that the blood was contaminated and she did not have any infection in her blood and we can go home in about 30 min!!! I knew that was one of the alternatives they were thinking it could have been so it did not surprise me. However I did just stay 2.5 days in the hospital for iv fluids and not needed antibiotics, and a terrible sleepless time. That being said I'm glad we did go and stay because she was in the safest place she could have been being sick and not knowing if she had infection or not. We are home now and she is playing with all her toys which I disinfected my whole house!! and enjoying being home with Kota and mommy and daddy!! So we are all good and healthy as of right now! Lets hope with out having a lot of other kids here my family will stay this way!!!! Hope everyone had a great week and hope you all have a great weekend!!

Beach Bum Babies

We had such an amazing time at the beach.... It started by Friday leaving and going to Virginia Beach spending the night in the motor home with Sherry and Alfred. We woke up and got ready for the beach took family pictures and then got some sun!! The girls liked the beach a lot. Dakota would rather play in the sand then be in the water, then you have Teagan who is fearless and wants to dive in at 9 mos old. My Crazy girls. Teagan did sleep on the beach which was great because I did worry about having to go back and forth with her naps. It worked out though, after dinner we swung by sweet frog and then headed to Duck North Carolina. My first time there and it is beautiful!!! We had a great time at the beach house with the family. The house was wonderful for kids had a pool, swing set, and even a sandbox in the backyard. Not to mention the beach entrance was at the end of our street no public access, it was fantastic went back and forth for the next four days we were there. However it did rain a little while we were there so we also got to go around the little town and check out what all they had to offer. Kids were also really good while we were there Teagan was getting over her sickness and Dakota did not get sick until day we were leaving so it worked out fine! Going on vacation is not really too relaxing with kids unless they are older and can take care of themselves so Ryan and I were stressed the whole time but tried our very best to relax and for the most part we did have a good time :) However we did decide this won't happen again until Teagan is older like 3+. So we have a plan to go back in two years with our girls and stay in a hotel for a week!!! So I'm excited for that in the future. Next year is California then back to the beach!!! We all got a little sun on us not too much but we are more pool people then sandy beach people we figured out on the trip. Anywho that was our vacation and here are all the fun pics!! Hope you all enjoy! we did ........
